This book is about pain and a steadfast, stubborn will to survive. “The Price of Being Thin” is my story detailing a lifetime of obesity, the constant struggle of dieting, loneliness at being an outcast in a slender world, and finally the decision to do something radical about it then contending with the fall-out from that momentous decision.
